Description
The Wix 57312XP Engine Oil Filter is engineered with synthetic media to provide robust engine protection, especially when using synthetic motor oil under extreme driving conditions.
- Media Type: Synthetic media for enhanced filtration
- Gasket: Specifically formulated HNBR gasket for excellent seal in extreme cold and resistance to hardening at elevated oil temperatures
- Anti-Drain Back Valve (Spin-Ons): Silicone anti-drain back valves protect against dry starts
- Performance (per ISO-4548-12): 32 grams dirt capacity (up to 100% more than Wix), 99% efficient at 35 microns
- Ideal for: Towing, extreme idle time, lower gear mountainous climbs, long periods at highway speeds, and extreme cold
- Recommended Use: Throughout the OE manufacturer's recommended oil and filter change interval
