Shipping policy
Ordering from UpStart Auto Parts & More? Here is how and when your parts get to you, what shipping costs, and what to do if something arrives damaged or short.
- 1 Business Day Most in-stock orders leave our warehouse the next business day
- UPS, FedEx, USPS Freight on oversized shipments, discount carriers on larger orders
- All 50 States Alaska and Hawaii are rated separately at checkout
- Live Rates Add items to your cart to see the cost before you buy
1. Shipping Times
Most in-stock orders leave our warehouse within 1 business day. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday, Sunday or major holidays.
Some items are Special Order only and can take up to 4 weeks to ship. Those items say so in the product description.
The delivery clock starts when your order ships, not when you place it. Most orders ship in 1 business day. Checkout offers these shipping methods:
- Saver, the rate that free-shipping orders use: should arrive in 6 to 10 days
- Ground: should arrive in 3 to 5 days
- 2 Day
Orders to Alaska and Hawaii ship by UPS Ground or UPS 2nd Day Air at rates calculated at checkout. Free shipping does not apply to Alaska and Hawaii.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Treat any shipping or transit time shown on this site, or quoted by a carrier, as an estimate, and order early when you need a part by a certain date.
2. Carriers and Tracking
UpStart Auto Parts & More ships with UPS, FedEx and the US Postal Service for small orders, and with discount carriers and freight for larger or oversized shipments, unless a product description says otherwise. US Postal Service shipping is not available on every order.
Track your shipment with the carrier:
3. What Shipping Costs
To see your shipping cost before you buy, add the items to your cart, enter your zip code in the estimator toward the middle of the cart page, and press Get Rates. Your options and their prices appear straight away.
Some products are oversized and carry an additional shipping cost. Those items say so in the product description.
4. Holidays and Weekends
Orders placed over a weekend or on a holiday are processed on the next business day.
5. Delays Outside Our Control
We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by a carrier or by the weather.
6. Back Orders and Out of Stock
If a product is on backorder, our customer service team will email you about the delay. If a product is out of stock, our team will email you to say the order cannot be filled.
7. Address Errors and Fraud Alerts
If there is a problem with your shipping address, our customer service team will try to reach you by email or phone to sort it out. If an order is flagged for fraud and we cannot reach you, the order is cancelled.
Please check your address at checkout. If an order is rejected because the address was entered incorrectly, return shipping is deducted from your refund, along with a 15% restocking fee. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
8. Damaged Products
If a product is damaged in transit, refuse the delivery, note the damage with the carrier, and tell us right away at customerservice@upstartautoparts.com. If you cannot refuse the shipment, email us right away instead and send photos so we can assess the damage. UpStart Auto Parts & More is not responsible for damage caused by the carrier in transit.
9. Shortages
Report any shipping shortage within 5 business days at customerservice@upstartautoparts.com.
10. Where We Ship
- All 50 United States. Alaska and Hawaii have their own rates, which appear at checkout
- Addresses outside the United States
- Some products carry their own shipping restrictions, which are noted in the product description
We can ship to a PO Box on select orders only. The safest route is to give us both a PO Box and a street address in your SHIP TO address. UpStart Auto Parts & More will email you if we cannot ship a product to you because of a shipping restriction.
