Description
SKF has been a leader in the design and development of seals, inventing the first integrated shaft seal in 1928. SKF grease seals have been on the road for more than a hundred years, keeping lubricant in and contaminants out. All SKF parts meet exacting testing requirements to ensure the longest life possible.
- Provides protection against dirt and water contamination
- Extends bearing life
- Should be inspected regularly
- Replace any seals showing signs of wear, such as excessive grease buildup on the inside of the wheel hub or trailer rim
