Description

When transitioning pipe size, there is no easier way than with SharkBite push-fit reducing couplings. Easily reduce from 1 inch to 3/4 inch or 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch all the way down to 1/4 inch sizes. There is no need for solder, glue, clamps or unions, simply push-to-connect and move on. This quick connect fitting is designed for potable water and radiant heating applications with no access panels required. It is also rated to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and 200 PSI.

  • Connects PEX pipe.
  • Certified for underground and behind the wall applications and as a manufactured joint without access panels.
  • Exceeds ASSE 1061 Section 1V, 4.1 Materials - Dezincification (DZR) - ISO 6509.
  • Certified for potable water and hydronic applications.
  • Always consult with local plumbing codes concerning specific applications.
  • All components are chloramine resistant.
  • Traceability - All products are stamped with a manufacturing date.
  • All fittings are made of Lead Free DZR Brass.
  • Approved for burial.
