Description
Motorcraft A/C Compressor Assemblies are engineered to provide original equipment performance and reliability for Ford and Lincoln vehicles.
- Engineered to meet Ford engineering standards through rigorous lab and real-world tests.
- Scroll type compressors for heavy-duty applications with variable capacity to reduce clutch cycling and forged aluminum scrolls for strength.
- Fixed swashplate designs for reduced NVH, using forged aluminum pistons and swashplates with integral pulse reduction.
- Both styles feature ball bearings and micro-finished internal parts for efficiency and durability.
- Dual center seam seals help protect against leaks.
- OE spec housing mounting bosses ensure a sure fit.
- E-coated pulleys provide a long-lasting finish and corrosion resistance.
- Heat-resistant Teflon piston rings offer excellent sealing performance.
- Tin-plated forged aluminum swashplates provide strength and durability in low lubrication, high-temperature conditions.
- Pre-shimmed, rubber-damped clutch assemblies minimize clutch noise during engagement and simplify installation.
