- Durability test specification: 10-years/150,000 miles, simulated in real-world conditions.
- Contamination Resistance test: Determines the belt's sensitivity to engine oil, power steering fluid, and engine coolant.
- Four-Pulley Hot Test: Conducted to test durability under high temperature, high load, and adverse environmental conditions.
- Hot and Cold Test: Measures durability under high temperature, high load, and cold temperature, no load conditions.
- Three-Pulley Rib Crack Test: Checks durability with regard to rib cracking and chunking at high temperature and high belt speed.
- Dynamic O-zone Testing: Determines the belt's ability to resist O-zone, a significant factor in rubber compound degradation.
- Noise Test: Assesses noise characteristics under various degrees of misalignment and environmental conditions.
- Stationary Oven Test: Determines the influence of high temperatures on the physical properties of the vulcanized rubber belts.
- Friction testing: Completed to ensure proper friction characteristics and no slipping under load.
- Polyester cords: Help belt resist stretching, minimize slipping, and provide excellent performance in applications with short adjustment drive systems.
