Description

Meeco's Red Devil 1611 castable refractory cement is ideal for casting into custom shapes to replace worn-out firebrick, filling large holes or cracks in masonry fireboxes, or using as a solid stone bed. Originally developed for use in blast furnaces, it offers exceptional strength and abrasion resistance. When mixed with water, this dry material chemically sets and dries rock hard, withstanding temperatures up to 2,200 degrees F. It can be used in outdoor fire pits and appears light brown when cured.

  • Maximum Temperature: 2,200 degrees F
  • Color: Buff (light brown when cured)
  • Container Size: 25 lb
  • Packaging Type: Tub
