Freud Mortising Bits are engineered to create clean, precise, and splinter-free mortises in various materials, including plywood, veneer, solid wood, and composites. These bits are ideal for mortising hinges and hardware or cutting grooves and dadoes.
- Down shear design on most bits helps eliminate splintering by pushing wood fibers down during the cut.
- Deep center gullets ensure maximum material removal without chip loading.
- Suitable for use on CNC and other automatic routers, as well as hand-held and table-mounted portable routers.
- Available with top bearings to accommodate popular routing jigs.
