Description
GM Genuine Parts A/C Compressor are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. These A/C compressors pump refrigerant through the system. Compressors are typically engine driven via the accessory belt, with a clutch on the compressor being used to engage and disengage the compressor. Hybrid vehicles are typically equipped with an electric motor driven compressor. The compressors are lubricated by refrigerant oil. GM Genuine Parts are the true OE parts installed during the production of or validated by General Motors for GM vehicles. Some GM Genuine Parts may have formerly appeared as ACDelco GM Original Equipment (OE).
