What is a pigtail connection on a trailer light?
A pigtail is a short, detachable wiring harness that plugs directly into the back of a sealed Grote lamp. Instead of hardwiring a light directly to the trailer (which requires cutting and splicing if the light breaks), a pigtail allows you to quickly unplug a broken light and snap a new one in within seconds.
